On the outskirts of downtown Gatlinburg sits the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, the largest group of independent artisans in North America. This historic 8-mile loop has been designated a Tennessee Heritage Arts & Crafts Trail.
On Hwy 66 in Sevierville is the Robert A. Tino art gallery, the Jim Gray Gallery is located at Old Mill Square, Thomas Kinkaide Gallery is at The Village Shops in downtown Gatlinburg, and Arrowmont hosts works from its instructor artists, artists-in-residence, pieces from its permanent collection, national and international artists and craftspeople.
In the Wears Valley area you will have an opportunity to visit a good variety of interesting shops which carry uniquely hand crafted items along with outdoor decor and souvenirs.

For antique collectors, There is a nice selection of antique stores on Hwy 66 between I-40 and Sevierville. Several old and modern antique shops are located in the Wears Valley area between Pigeon Forge and Townsend.
